  • Kindergarten is all about inspiring a love of learning. This biblically integrated approach to education is accomplished through various methods that complement a child’s ability to engage in learning.

    Curl up with a great book with Five in a Row, a highly effective unit study incorporating social studies, language, art, applied math, and science with engaging activities that stimulate a child’s natural love of learning.

    We will lay a foundation of phonics and learn the rules, usage, and mechanics of spelling, all while fostering a love of reading through the proven Abeka curriculum.

    Math is a fundamental part of God’s natural world, and the curriculum should stir students to discuss their observations and ask questions. Through incremental development and spiral review, Saxon Math will encourage your child to form a solid foundation for further studies.

    Rounding out our kindergarten curriculum, A Reason for Handwriting will guide your child through the year and open the door to a world of learning while critical thinking selections and map skills teach children fundamental skills to navigate life.

    Your student will traverse the Middle Ages to the Reformation with integrated biblical and literary instruction.

Several new mathematical concepts are introduced and taught utilizing simulations and games.

    Students will study God's world, presented chronologically by the days of creation. Through Abeka's well-balanced science curriculum, children will understand God's revealed purposes in creating man and his environment.

    Students will study animal classifications, the human body and its senses, photosynthesis, climates, and more as they continue to explore ideas and pose questions.

  • Fourth Grade is dedicated to cultivating a lifelong learner. This biblically integrated approach to education is accomplished through various methods that complement a child's ability to engage in learning.

    No longer a little kid but not quite a teenager, fourth graders are learning to be more independent and develop a deeper understanding of various subjects. They are ready to explore new ideas and take on increasing responsibilities. As students continue their fourth-grade journey, they will be introduced to more complex materials.

    Building on the previous year's concepts, Rod and Staff's proven curriculum reviews types of sentences and structure while introducing new concepts such as the parts of speech, punctuation, and capitalization. Students will also learn about the dictionary and literary devices, such as synonyms and antonyms.

    The Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) curriculum will lay a foundation for proper writing: structure and style, utilizing clear classroom instruction and resources.

    Your students will learn about Early America in their history studies, along with integrated biblical and literary instruction.

    Through incremental study and spiral review, Saxon Math will continue to build on a solid foundation of mathematics. Mathematical concepts will focus on algebraic reasoning and geometric concepts, preparing students for higher math courses.

    Through Abeka's well-balanced science curriculum, children will discover God's detailed design in His creation. Students will conduct activities implementing the scientific method that will allow them to see the relationship between broad scientific concepts and their own lives. This science course will enable students to survey several areas of study through the eyes of botanists, meteorologists, ecologists, and geologists. This comprehensive course also covers matter, energy, force, and motion.

    Rounding out our fourth-grade curriculum, A Reason for Spelling and A Reason for Handwriting (cursive), will guide your child through the year and open the door to a world of learning while critical thinking selections and map skills teach children fundamental skills to navigate life.

  • Fifth and Sixth Grade is a continuation of cultivating a life-long learner. This biblically integrated approach to education is accomplished through various methods that complement a child's ability to engage in learning.

    A new and exciting journey and a crucial time of self-discovery, fifth and sixth graders explore their interests and strengths while navigating new territories and expectations. They are ready for more complex subject material and assignments that will exercise their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    Building on the previous year's concepts, Rod and Staff's proven curriculum reviews types of sentences and structure while exploring the parts of speech and incorporating more punctuation, capitalization, hyphens, and colons into the curriculum. Students will be able to diagram a sentence and learn about the dictionary and literary devices, such as synonyms and antonyms.

    The Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) curriculum will continue to foster a firm foundation for proper writing: structure and style, utilizing clear classroom instruction and resources.

    Your students will traverse history from Creation to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ in the enjoyable Mystery of History series. Integrated literacy instruction complements the history course. Students will study the scriptures with Kay Arthur's children's Bible series.

    Math and science are fundamental parts of God's natural world, and the curriculum should inspire students to discuss their observations and ask questions. Through incremental study and spiral review, Saxon Math will continue to build on a solid foundation of mathematics. According to Saxon's curriculum description: "Saxon 6/5 covers concepts such as the order of operations, geometry and measurement, integers, divisibility concepts, ratios, statistics and probability, powers and roots, and more. Saxon 7/6 introduces concepts such as functions and coordinate graphing, integers, exponential expressions, and prime factorization. Students will specifically learn about the order of operations, number lines, decimal place value, how to find the percent of a number, how to round decimal numbers, attributes of geometric solids, and more." Saxon 6/5 and 7/6 will be available for 5th and 6th-grade students.

    Through Abeka's well-balanced science curriculum, children will see that God is the ultimate creator and sustainer of the universe as they explore its incredible details. Students will learn about different types of mammals, the earth's structure, astronomy, oceanography, physics, and more.

    Rounding out our fifth and sixth-grade curriculum, studies in classical roots will guide your child through the year and open the door to a world of learning while critical thinking selections, such as the Fallacy Detective, math analogies, and map skills, teach children fundamental skills to navigate life.

7th-8th Curriculum

  • Seventh and Eighth Grade – Shaping a Godly character, anchored in faith. This biblically integrated approach to education is accomplished through various methods that complement a child's ability to engage in learning.


    Eager to learn and explore, seventh and eighth graders are at a critical juncture in their academic journey. They are ready to delve deeper into more complex subjects, developing a more nuanced understanding of the world around them. Having already acquired foundational skills in core subjects, students will sharpen their critical thinking and communication skills. Along with academic growth, middle school students seek independence as they develop their unique personalities. Character traits such as perseverance, responsibility, and respect are nurtured as they face challenges and decisions.


    Grammar will continue to lay the groundwork for effective oral and written communication. Students will use the time-tested Fix It! curriculum to refine concepts through an integrated approach. Daily passages will culminate in a year-long story that allows the student to apply lessons in context. Your student will understand the more complex nuances of grammar, including additional comma rules, phrasal/clausal constructions, indefinite/infinitive demonstrative pronouns, and more. The Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) curriculum will continue to foster a firm foundation for proper writing: structure and style, utilizing clear classroom instruction and resources.

    Your students will traverse history from the early church to the Middle Ages. The Mystery of History Volume II connects the early church and worldwide events meaningfully, allowing students a holistic view of the historical timeline. Integrated literacy instruction complements the history course.

    Students will journey through the New Testament this year alongside their studies of the early church.

    Rounding out our seventh and eighth-grade curriculum, studies in classical roots will guide your child through the year and open the door to a world of learning, while critical thinking selections, such as The Art of Argument, will teach children fundamental skills to navigate life.


    Full enrollment includes the humanities courses, math, science, and chapel. Seventh and eighth-grade students will elevate each other as they learn together in Bible, history, literature, grammar/writing/vocabulary, and logic classes.

  • Mathematics
    Middle school mathematics provides the perfect platform for students to sharpen their critical thinking skills and develop abstract reasoning. This is where they are introduced to the world of numbers, equations, and problem-solving. In particular, general math and pre-algebra significantly shape a student's understanding of math.

    These two subjects are often taught sequentially, with general math solidifying the basics of arithmetic, geometry, measurement, statistics/ probability, and equations/inequalities, while pre-algebra delves deeper into algebraic concepts and equations.
    Strong guidance and support will help students develop a robust understanding and appreciation for mathematics that will prepare them for advanced courses.

    Science
    Middle school science courses focus on building a solid understanding of the fundamental principles of science. Students will develop essential skills as they observe, collect, and analyze data. General Science will cover several areas of science to ensure students have a solid foundation across broad fields of study. Students will appreciate the beauty of creation and the importance of scientific inquiry as they survey several branches of science, including astronomy, geology, paleontology, environmental science, and more.

    Physical science will provide students with a means to discover the world around them as they work through chemistry, physics, and earth science modules. This class is meant to be a final stepping stone into more advanced high school courses such as biology.

    General Science and Physical Science provide hands-on experiments and activities that allow students to apply the scientific method and test their hypotheses.

9th-12th Curriculum

  • Our high school curriculum focuses on shaping Godly character, anchored in faith. This biblically integrated approach to education is accomplished through various methods that complement a student’s ability to engage in learning.

    As they navigate toward adulthood, high schoolers face important decisions that will shape their future. Academically, these students are challenged with more advanced coursework and are encouraged to explore their interests and strengths. It is a time of excitement and growth as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives.

    The 9-12 grade Christian classical education is a rigorous and holistic time-proven approach to learning. This educational model combines the teachings of Christianity with the classical liberal arts curriculum, creating a well-rounded education that focuses on developing the heart, soul, and mind (ESV, Mark 12:30). Students are encouraged to think critically, engage in meaningful discussions, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. The curriculum includes subjects such as Bible, literature, history, mathematics, science, and Latin, all taught through the lens of a Christian worldview.

    This approach prepares students for college and career success and equips them with a strong moral foundation and a deep understanding of their faith. Students in this program are challenged to strive for excellence in all areas of their lives and are encouraged to use their education to serve others and impact the world for Christ.

    Rounding out our ninth-twelfth grade curriculum, studies in advanced vocabulary from Latin roots will guide your child through the year and open the door to a world of learning.

    Full enrollment includes humanities courses, math, science, language classes, personal finance, and chapel. Ninth through twelfth grade students will elevate each other as they learn together in Bible, history, literature, grammar/writing/vocabulary, and logic classes.

  • Mathematics

    High school mathematics explores a wide range of topics, from basic arithmetic to more complex concepts. In Algebra 1, students learn about basic operations, equations, and functions, while Algebra 2 delves deeper into topics such as polynomials, logarithms, and complex numbers.

    Geometry is a branch of mathematics that deals with the properties and relationships of shapes and figures. This course introduces students to concepts such as angles, lines, and geometric proofs. Students will also cover topics like area, volume and surface area.

    Precalculus is a course that prepares students for advanced mathematical concepts and is typically taken after completing Algebra 2. It covers topics such as trigonometry, vectors, and matrices. Precalculus bridges algebra and calculus, providing students with the necessary skills to excel in higher-level math courses. High school mathematics teaches students to analyze and break down problems into smaller, more manageable parts and use deductive reasoning to find a solution. These critical reasoning skills are valuable in all aspects of life.

    High school Christian education offers a unique opportunity for students to explore the fascinating world of biology and chemistry through the lens of faith. With courses such as biology, chemistry, and advanced biology, students can probe deeper into the intricate workings of the natural world while also learning about the Creator behind it all. These classes provide a strong foundation in the sciences and encourage critical thinking and a deeper understanding of the relationship between science and faith.


    In Apologia's Biology course, students will learn about the diversity of life on Earth and the complex systems that sustain it. From the smallest microorganisms to the largest animals, students explore the intricacies of God's creation and how it all works together in perfect harmony. This course covers a broad spectrum of topics, including cell structure and functions, DNA, genetics, biology of animals, and plant structure and function, giving the student opportunities for hands-on experiments utilizing the scientific method as they test their hypothesis.

    On the other hand, Chemistry focuses on the building blocks of matter and the chemical reactions that occur in our everyday lives. Through hands-on experiments and demonstrations, students gain a deeper understanding of the laws and principles that govern the physical world. This course covers a range of subjects such as measurement, units, atoms and molecules, atomic structure, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, kinetics, and more.


    Students will further their understanding of biology through Apologia’s Advanced Biology course. This class offers a more in-depth exploration of topics ranging from the digestive system to the endocrine and lymphatic systems. This respectful course focuses on the anatomy and physiology of the human body and its organ systems. With a strong emphasis on critical thinking and analysis, students are challenged to think outside the box as they work through science concepts and thought-provoking experiments.

    These Apologia classes provide hands-on experiments and activities that allow students to apply the scientific method and test their hypotheses. Dissections are performed in the biology courses.

    All students are required to follow lab safety protocols. Lab fees are included with tuition.

  • Latin 1 and 2
    One of the key features of classical education is the study of classical languages such as Latin. This not only provides students with a deeper understanding of the roots of modern languages, but it also helps them develop a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and syntax. Additionally, the study of classical languages opens up a world of literature and historical texts that would otherwise be inaccessible to students.

    Spanish 1 and 2

    Spanish is a widely spoken language that is becoming increasingly important in today's world. These courses are carefully designed to cover all aspects of the Spanish language, including grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills. Students will develop their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in Spanish. These courses teach the language and expose students to the rich culture of Spanish-speaking countries from a Biblical worldview perspective that interacts at multiple levels.
